Controlar 3 - 4 Grilled
57105 spectators arrived at
Sweet Science Arena, where weather conditions were pretty good for football.

Erasmo Montoya and
Mouss Diokh. Controlar's starters:

Calleja,
魏利 (Weili),
Ångwald -
Faladoiro,
Yi Chuan,
Eng Rong,
Keng Kwang,
El Tahtawy -
Ramos,
Biskopstø.
The following players took the field for Grilled:
Germanakos -
Keng Chuan,
其材 (Qicai) -
Reddy,
Teck Fu,
Khairul,
An Keng,
Ferzan -
Ming Xin,
Thoroddsen,
La Face.
Controlar fielded a 3-5-2 lineup. For Grilled Birds, the formation of choice was 2-5-3. Grilled mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle, taking advantage of their divine (+7) (27) level with that tactic. Grilled's
Mohd Marzuki Khairul managed to lose the defenders as he advanced down the right wing and scored, putting the visitors ahead after 3 minutes. 0 - 1. As
Gústav Thoroddsen had, completely unprovoked, swept the legs out from under an opponent in front of a linesman, the referee gave the Grilled player a red card without batting an eyelid. Controlar's
Tong Yi Chuan refused to leave the field despite hurting his back 12 minutes into the match.
Rashad El Tahtawy made a superb strike after 19 minutes with a shot straight in front of the goal after a long ball through the middle, but one of the visitors' defenders got a foot in at the last second and warded it off for a corner. After 20 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave
Hwang Teck Fu a chance to increase the lead for Grilled, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 2. At 28 minutes into the game, Controlar's
Paulino Faladoiro deftly knocked the ball home after an impressive run down the left, reducing the visitors' lead to 1 - 2. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 2. Controlar claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 52 percent.
57 minutes into the match, a typically brave header by
Evandro La Face from
Brian 'Was Born' Reddy's cross looped just over the opposing goalkeeper's desperate reach. Goal for Grilled, making the score 1 - 3.
Rashad El Tahtawy did everything he could to get one back for his Controlar, but keeper
Dimitris Germanakos denied him with a spectacular block.
Hans Hendrik Biskopstø charged down the left and looked sure to score for Controlar 69 minutes into the game, but his shot went just wide. Some fine movement on the left led to a Grilled goal after 75 minutes, making it 1 - 4.
Phua Ming Xin was noted down as the scorer. The home crowd were delighted when
Tong Yi Chuan scored with a header after an attack from the right, making the score 2 - 4. But did he use his hand? That'll be one for the pundits to talk about after the game, that's for sure! The Controlar free kick 86 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of
Hans Hendrik Biskopstø, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 3 - 4! After 87 minutes,
Tan Keng Kwang got through on the right and was very close to equalising for the home side, but didn't get the shot away. After 89 minutes, the Grilled coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving
Evandro La Face off the field.
Chan Ze Han took his place. 89 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game.
Aw Keng Chuan gave
Damian Hutter a quick hug as he left the field. The referee announced 4 minutes of stoppage time, giving fans a slim hope that their team could get one more attack in before this was all over. The match ends 3 - 4. Controlar had most of the ball, with 53 percent of possession.
Controlar's top performer was clearly
David Ramos.
Rashad El Tahtawy on the other hand, had a terrible day. Grilled's best player was
Lim An Keng.
Damian Hutter was a disappointment, however.
