Rama Humbled

New forward
Dimitri Simon's bright start continued on, as he added to his goal against Chemistry with two against Cup challengers holyrama, who had weaseled into the fourth round on the back of stubborn defence and some fortune.
The hosts featured a balanced mix of local hopefuls and foreign journeymen, held together by the organization of captain Cai Khun Sa, whose mobility however left much to be desired. In fact, pace was at a premium throughout the holyrama team, and Mohd Firdaus took on and beat Beng Kuan rather too easily before finding Simon, who needed no second invitation.
That, and some perceived favouritism towards Grilled, irritated striker Lai Tze Lai to no end, and he kicked the ball away in disgust after he felt that he had won possession fairly but was called back.
Lai was booked for his protest, and perhaps more pointedly, had to watch the free-kick lead to Grilled's second. Two defenders crudely bundled Simon over in the box after he chested the kick down, and Sid smashed the penalty kick right into the top corner.
holyrama custodian Michael Archard must have cursed his luck after the match, as few keepers at his level have had to contend with a dead ball specialist of such skill as Sid; His porous wall didn't help at all, as Sid's daisycutter went right through the sea of legs and into goal.
Grilled eased off in the second half with victory assured, and it was left to
Dimitri Simon to try and cement his reputation. He was wasteful in the 58th minute when he went for it instead of passing to an unmarked Firdaus, but eventually got his second in the 69th minute in fine fashion.
