Day Two of their respective tournaments was a testing one for the three Grilled clubs, as they managed but a single victory in the nine games played.

The Birds lost all three of theirs, but had the scant consolation of evincing some perking up as the day went on. First up was former Polish national cupwinners Leśne Dziadki, and although they were no longer what they were in their pomp, the Paweł Gadaj-powered team was still far more than a match for Grilled. All-Pole but for Swedish goalie Erik Leijonér, they overran the Birds in a solid 4-0 thumping.

It was slightly closer against New South Wales-based Newbridge City Football Club, and the Birds even took the lead twice through Cyril Künzler and Kalki Parvathaneni, but they ultimately lacked staying power and fell, 2-5. Grilled then appeared to have turned it around against Czech fourth division side Chessrockers, running up a 3-0 lead by the half-hour, but they would again slip up, with the driven Robert Kaufmann leading a comeback.

For the Bunnies, they were let down by an inability to find goals, which made all the difference in a series of extremely tight matches. Andorran Division Three side Orxata F.C. picked up on that weakness quickly enough, and went for a patient waiting game after Ernesto Antuña got them the lead in the 29th. It took a stroke of genius by Liderhan Kadyr to rescue that one.

They had no such luck in their next games, however, losing both by the lone goal. Kazimierz Licowiec did the trick for Czech Division Four opponents FK Lázeňáci from a classic big man's header from a cross in the 63rd, which rising Kuwaiti side Eye of the Storm - now with an eye on the Kuwaiti Premier - prevailed through Jorge Magnolfi in a matchup of counterpunchers. Kadyr had a golden opportunity to reply late on, but skewed his shot slightly wide.

This turn of events was a great disappointment for the Bunnies fans, who were expecting far better tidings from their team. "I think this is on the strikers." young fan George Tan grumbled. "They just weren't able to make stuff happen."

International again fared the best, with the on-fire Micky bin Kadir leading a late rally against English fifth division club PETERBOROUGH STAR FC, though it was not enough as they lost 2-3 despite his superb chipped goal. They then enjoyed a 2-1 win over Brazil's Sorocaba F.C. to keep the day from being a total washout, with Yao Erguo heading in the winner from a corner, with Soo Kiong Yau providing an encouraging goal in the eighth minute.

It was then back to the usual against Chilean fifth division side Killers Returns, with another Yao goal from a corner nullified by clinical finishes from Burhaneddin Temiz and Carlos Alberto Devia.
