One From Each
The season break saw an academy hopeful get a new lease of life from each of the Grilled clubs, as they eagerly seized free transfer opportunities, to finally get their professional careers off the blocks.
Of the three, Grilled International's Sadewa Sawor had been on the market the longest, it being five weeks since he began his search. While praised as one of the Busy Bees' most-gifted playmakers in a while, with an innate toughness to boot, being eighteen-and-a-half worked against the bearded Sawor's interests. Argentinean IV.25 club Principio de incertidumbre liked what they saw, though, and took him in together with István Ribár from Hungary's Huszonkétballáb Fc, and Rogelio Piñeiro Truan from Spain's los figthing dreamers.
Next would be 17 year-old Afiq Najib from the Buns, who caught the interest of Polish H.A.L VI.217 side Pioli's on fire, whose head coach Fabian Łojewski was likewise on a rebuilding spree. Najib had oft been described as hard to pigeonhole while with the Rancher Rabbits, exhibiting decent forward chops, while also fairly capable at the back, all the while making good use of his above-average ball control. It remains to be seen, then, as to what position he will make his own.
Finally, Tung Wai Siong, also 17, would get a plum assignment to Ang Mo Kio-based II.3 outfit, Galactic Eagles CF, who had recruited Aaron Mori from the Buns earlier in the season. Mori has yet to make the expected impact, but for Tung, there should be no doubt as to what he is gunning for, having specialized as a central midfielder since his first day with the Chicken Wings. He has an eye for goal too, moreover, as evidenced by a nice hat-trick versus Romania's AS Stres Fm.
