Farmer Bunnies trainee duo Leong Cheng Kim and Azmi Raqib would be taken on by leaguemates Forever Black Plum on frees, with Swiss head coach Albert Gretenkord happy to avoid unnecessary acclimatization worries. It was not that they were short on potential either, with Leong having excelled as a classic big centre-forward for the Rancher Rabbits, with Azmi being a tricky winger-type.

"It's a good idea to recruit both." Rabbits scout Tong Han Kong remarked, perhaps not without a hint of regret. "They worked very well together as part of our attack, but let's be frank, there's no real space for anyone that's not a defender with the main squad at the moment."

Leong had indeed dominated the youth ranks, having come off two good hat-tricks in his time in the academy, but it has to be said that the Buns are eyeing loftier heights at the moment; not long after the national youth squad took notice of Grilled Birds' midfielders, they have just come for Ong Li Jing and Amirul Jufri Khairil too, with both tapped as prospective fullbacks.
