RunRiotFC entered the field in a 4-4-2 formation. The visitors, Grilled Birds, chose to start the game with a 2-5-3 lineup. Grilled tried to focus their attacks down the middle, taking advantage of their titanic (15) level with that tactic. A mistake by the home side's central defence after 17 minutes allowed Chan Ze Han to score for Grilled. The scoreboard now read 0 - 1. After 23 minutes of game time, Chan Ze Han had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but Guido Filippini was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner. A penalty was awarded after 28 minutes, and Moey Xin Seng made the most of his chance to put Grilled up by another goal. 0 - 2 for the visitors. After 34 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Gandhik Chitre who increased Grilled's lead to 0 - 3. The home crowd cheered when, after 36 minutes, Paulino Trindade's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. It was 0 - 3 at the break. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 70 percent of possession.

After 46 minutes, the Grilled coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving Chia Kwang Tse off the field. Chad Thach took his place. Encouraged by their lead, after 46 minutes the Grilled coach asked Hwang Teck Fu to change positions with Gandhik Chitre. 60 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game. Moey Xin Seng gave Teo Chuan Yong a quick hug as he left the field. As Moey Xin Seng left the field, the coach signaled to Teo Chuan Yong to be the new set pieces taker. Chan Ze Han became the new Grilled captain. Kalki Parvathaneni would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. Bilal Mohammad Harun entered the game for Grilled as the match clock showed 60 minutes. With the scoreboard showing that 63 minutes had been played, Grilled nearly put themselves up another goal after Teo Chuan Yong came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. The incalculable Atang Mangoye of Grilled did everything right as he set up Bilal Mohammad Harun for a goal after 66 minutes. Unfortunately, the strike missed its target. Teo Chuan Yong was, after 78 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper Guido Filippini made the save. Grilled's Aw Keng Chuan got himself booked for a foul. 80 minutes into the match, Hwang Teck Fu came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. Runriotfc's fans were urging them forward as they tried to get back into the game, and their vocal support was rewarded 83 minutes into the match as M�rk Pokorni ran onto a beautiful ball played through the visitors' defence and slotted it past the keeper to reduce the deficit. 1 - 3. With 87 minutes played, Jordi Morat� was very close to reducing the score for Runriotfc with a low drive from the left, but a defender stuck his foot out just in the nick of time, blocking the shot to a corner. With 88 minutes played, Bodin Dumrong-ongtrakul of Runriotfc fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. The referee announced 2 minutes of stoppage time, giving fans a slim hope that their team could get one more attack in before this was all over. The match ends 1 - 3. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 70 percent of the time.

The most dominating Runriotfc player was without a doubt Boris Phelps. Guido Filippini was a disappointment, however. Grilled's top performer was clearly Chan Ze Han. However, Manuel Vadal� made a disastrous appearance.
