Bunnies trainee Joey Kwan would embark on a free transfer to newly-established Spanish Division Seven club Real Sociedad S.A.D today, about a week before turning eighteen. The budding playmaker impressed his new employers with his wide range of skills towards advancing the ball, and also a willingness to guard his man when called upon.
To Kwan, this was a dream come true. "Spain's, like, the mecca for midfielders." he gushed. "It was always something I had set my sights on, but never thought too seriously about. But then my scout Mr. Tong said, why not just go for it, and guess what, it worked!"
Kwan will have company - and competition - in Italian lad Eusebio Angileri, signed from Piemonte side Le volpi del Kentucky while holding a similar profile. Sociedad boss Joan Carles Antonijoan is expected to field both soon enough.
