After 26 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Bilal Mohammad Harun who increased Grilled's lead to 0 - 3. 28 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 4 as Lim An Keng finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. 0 - 4 was the score after the first half. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 80 percent.

46 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game. Lim An Keng gave Chia Kwang Tse a quick hug as he left the field. The home keeper was stunned 58 minutes into the match when he misjudged the free kick by Bilal Mohammad Harun and dived in the wrong direction. The visitors increased the lead to 0 - 5. By then Bilal Mohammad Harun had scored three goals - a hat trick! Chan Ze Han left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 60 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. Kalki Parvathaneni reluctantly made way for Gandhik Chitre on the pitch. Grilled's Hwang Teck Fu's long shot really ought to have found the net 80 minutes into the match, but it fell just wide of the target. As the match nears its end, the referee has deemed it appropriate to add 2 minutes as stoppage time. The match ends 0 - 6. The most dominating Crescent player was without a doubt Ler Shun Puay. However, Ang Yew Kong made a disastrous appearance. Prokop Mottl performed admirably for Grilled. Teo Chuan Yong turned in a dismal performance, however.
