Janne Savonen soon recovered one three minutes after half-time as
Aw Keng Chuan's hopeful effort was punched clear and fell kindly for Răzvan Ştiubei, however, with
Prokop Mottl restoring a two-goal advantage with Chan mixing it up, after taking over from
José Luiz Velho for the second half. Janari Lill swept Markus Salonmaa's low cross home in the 63rd minute, but that was it for FC HooJii.
With this, Grilled Birds ended the tournament in 3398th, and also a bright future, as prophesied by captain
Moey Xin Seng. "For a patched-up side, it's not looking half-bad." the 38 year-old said. "I can look forward to leaving the team in good hands."
The Buns finished 1525th in a far smaller cohort on a 2-1-5 record, though Polish V.12 club Seblas Team abandoning the fixture meant that their two wins had come through walkovers. This was, of course, nothing that head coach
Dalibor Kostadinović could be proud of. "We will be changing things around."
Grilled International did best with a 4-1-3, which left them 1446th of 4192 clubs, indeed one of their better showings in the Heroes of 2017 Trophy thus far. Romanian sixth divisioners Doctorii Ucigasi were left floundering especially after being reduced to ten men for Juha Ahtikari's petulance, and
Wang Hanxuan gladly punished them, in contributing three to an 8-2 smashing.
Li Xin Chi, who rounded the scoring off, nevertheless did not much enjoy his experience on the right wing. "It's not really bringing out the best in my game. But I can do it for the team."
