Mondal -
Vanterpool,
Shuffler,
Samuels -
mayekar,
David,
Morency,
Barua,
Croke -
Newsam,
Fardoux.
The following players had been chosen by Grilled:
Vadalà -
Thevar,
Velho,
Mangoye -

Chitre,
Teck Fu,
Thach,
Kwang Tse -
Ze Han,
Mottl.
3-5-2 was the choice of the day for both coaches. Grilled used their titanic (15) ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings. 7 minutes of the match played, and a comedy of errors by the home side gave the visitors a chance at the lead, but
Hwang Teck Fu, after finding himself dashing down on goal from the left with only the keeper to beat, sliced his shot horribly wide. After a fine move down the middle
Benson Croke nearly gave the home side a goal after 25 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide. The guests almost went up by a goal after 31 minutes when
Prokop Mottl came through and shot from the right. The ball bounced harmlessly off the post, though. Grilled were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. Down the middle came
Chirag Thevar, making a fantastic play that nearly had Grilled take the lead after 35 minutes, but
Ravi Mondal preserved the tie. After 39 minutes, Tõmba raised their score by one when
Rahul mayekar's dangerous low cross was cleverly tucked in at the near post by
Subodh Barua. 1 - 0. Tõmba had to manage with a reduced squad after 40 minutes, as
Desmond Shuffler got sent off for a needless foul away from the game's action. As
Desmond Shuffler exited the field,
Anthony Morency volunteered to be the new set pieces taker. 40 minutes into the game, Grilled's
Prokop Mottl took a seemingly painful knock to his chest. However, he gritted his teeth and decided to play on. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents,
Benson Croke got himself booked. The manager of Tõmba was not happy. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 0. Tõmba enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.
Still trailing on the score board, Grilled adjusted their tactics after 46 minutes.
Chia Kwang Tse had a quick chat at the side line, then switched positions with
Gandhik Chitre. After 46 minutes, the Grilled coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving
Atang Mangoye off the field.
Mohsen El Khateeb took his place.
Manuel Vadalà would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise.
Cameron Law entered the game for Grilled as the match clock showed 46 minutes. An equalising goal seemed certain after 55 minutes when
Prokop Mottl attacked down the left wing, but
Ravi Mondal just managed to make a save to keep the ball out of the net. Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 74 minutes, Tõmba did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker,
Delroy David was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 2 - 0. Cheers filled the stadium as
Junior Samuels broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 3 - 0 to Tõmba.
Chad Thach of Grilled received a yellow card after 85 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Grilled kept trying to force their way through on the right side and
Hwang Teck Fu got his chance after 86 minutes, but the home side's defence held their position and stopped the attack. 87 minutes into the match, Grilled replied and reduced the lead to 3 - 1.
Chia Kwang Tse scored on a marvellous cross pass coming in from the left. The visiting team's coach wasn't happy with
Chan Ze Han after he missed an opportunity to reduce the score from the penalty spot 87 minutes into the match.
Delroy David twisted his arm after 88 minutes, forcing Tõmba to make a substitution. The replacement for the injured player was
Sashwat Nikam. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
Junior Samuels from Tõmba a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 88 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Grilled's
Chia Kwang Tse took a knock to the head after 89 minutes, due to a badly executed header. He took a few uneasy steps, but got dizzy and then taken off the field. This gave
Paulino Trindade a chance to take to the field instead. The players were tired, but when the referee announced that there would be 4 minutes of added time they, nonetheless, welcomed the extra opportunity to make an impact. The match ends 3 - 1. Neither team were able to dominate possession this half.
Tõmba's best player was
Rahul mayekar.
Tom Vanterpool on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Grilled player was
Chan Ze Han. However,
José Luiz Velho made a disastrous appearance.
