6065 spectators arrived at Trudis Strandhüpfer Arena, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. Michal Boťánek was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Mubarak Bany Hani and Hannes Kriisk. It was to be a contest between two different football philosophies, since the home team started the game with a 5-3-2 formation while the visitors instead opted for 3-5-2. Grilled mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle, taking advantage of their extra-terrestrial (16) level with that tactic. The home crowd was not impressed by the fancy moves of Grilled's 冬馬 (Toma) 田宮 (Tamiya) after 13 minutes. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 0 - 1 lead. Strandhüpfer tried to even things up by sending a long ball towards the centrally placed strikers, but the visitors' defence got the best of this rather direct style of play. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Dante Tran got himself booked. The manager of Grilled was not happy. After a fatal mistake from the away team's right side defence 41 minutes into the match, an alert František Chalupecký bagged the ball for Strandhüpfer, levelling the score to 1 - 1. After some beautiful movement down the left wing, Braulio Guevara Mora scored for Strandhüpfer putting them ahead 2 - 1, after 44 minutes. It was 2 - 1 at the break. Neither team were able to dominate possession this half.

46 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game. Teo Chuan Yong gave Moey Xin Seng a quick hug as he left the field. Moey Xin Seng became the new Grilled captain. As the 46 minute mark approached, the Grilled coach decided it was time for a substitution. Heng Dong Chu reluctantly made way for Kalki Parvathaneni on the pitch. Grilled's Radovan Jaška was shown a yellow card after 49 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Hj Azim bin Hj Zulkefly unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide. It was a fine day for Kalki Parvathaneni on his wing, his cross pass to Atang Mangoye was especially delicate 55 minutes into the game, but the keeper saved. Strandhüpfer managed to extend their lead to 3 - 1 when Elvis Yacumal cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. Júlio Vaz Gomes would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. Courtney Mullings entered the game for Strandhüpfer as the match clock showed 70 minutes. Braulio Guevara Mora had a fantastic opportunity to put Strandhüpfer up another goal 70 minutes into the match after a pass through the middle set him free, but he fired just over the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Strandhüpfer substitution. Pietro Regini came on for Yvann Pochat. With Yvann Pochat no longer on the pitch, Elvis Yacumal took over free kick duty. After 85 minutes, the Strandhüpfer coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving Manuel Jacinto Santos Domingues off the field. Jason Greenidge took his place. The referee decided to let play continue for an additional 1 minute beyond the regular 90 minutes. The match ends 3 - 1. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 54 percent.

Most important Strandhüpfer player was Elvis Yacumal. Braulio Guevara Mora turned in a dismal performance, however. Moey Xin Seng performed admirably for Grilled. Atang Mangoye was a disappointment, however.
