Dennis Koenigsegg tried to hide a smile as he entered the field. He had not expected to get a chance this day. Some great play up the middle by Grilled led to a chance for Douglas Carapaica to score after 34 minutes, but the shot hit the crossbar. The referee showed Football's Pier Giuseppe Licciardello the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Having taken a hard knock between his legs, Ernesto Noguera limped off the pitch in a reduced state of dignity. He could not continue, managing only 42 minutes for his team this day. Football had no available replacements, leaving the team a man short. With 44 minutes gone, a long pass from the defence of Football resulted in a counterattack that set Bülent Algüzar free through the middle, but the keeper made a spectacular diving save. 0 - 0 was the score after the first half. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 59 percent of the time.

Moey Xin Seng would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. Teo Chuan Yong entered the game for Grilled as the match clock showed 60 minutes. As the captain was no longer on the pitch, Chan Ze Han took over the role of being the Grilled captain. After a fine move down the middle Abd Hadi Taib Mazhud nearly gave the home side a goal after 70 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide. Chan Ze Han gave Grilled the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 1 - 0 Football's Patrik Gulyás was shown a yellow card after 77 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Abd Hadi Taib Mazhud had a fantastic opportunity to put Grilled up another goal 79 minutes into the match after a pass through the middle set him free, but he fired just over the crossbar. As the 89 minute mark approached, the Grilled coach decided it was time for a substitution. Douglas Carapaica reluctantly made way for 悠太 (Yuta) 中北 (Nakakita) on the pitch. 89 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game. Abd Hadi Taib Mazhud gave 冬馬 (Toma) 田宮 (Tamiya) a quick hug as he left the field. The players were tired, but when the referee announced that there would be 2 minutes of added time they, nonetheless, welcomed the extra opportunity to make an impact. The match ends 1 - 0. Grilled had most of the ball, with 62 percent of possession.

Most important Grilled player was Chan Ze Han. 悠太 (Yuta) 中北 (Nakakita) was a disappointment, however. Dennis Koenigsegg performed admirably for Football. Bülent Algüzar turned in a dismal performance, however.
