Brazilian Safari
Established Brazil V.185 club III Academia PALMEIRAS had Greek head coach Lampros Sampatakis go on a recruitment spree lately, and Grilled International's Sahari bin Mohd Nasrul found himself caught up in it. Although no promises were made on whether the short-term try-out contract would be renewed, the 18 year-old defensive midfielder figured that he had little to lose.
"It's not as if I'm swimming in offers, and hey, it's Brazil!" the mustached Safari said. "It's worth it for that alone."
International assistant coach Abdillah bin Mohd thought it a reasonable gamble, seeing as how Safari had not been one of the standouts at the Busy Bees. "He's fleet of foot, but his decision-making and positioning leaves something to be desired. Speed can compensate for only so much, and hopefully he fixes it pronto with his new club."
