Grilled 8 - 0 KingofNoobs
Clouds darkened the skies at
The Cooking Pot as 52017 spectators turned up for the match.

The teams both lined up their players in 2-5-3 formations.
Vikram Mudaliar gave Grilled the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 1 - 0
Bhavya Panigrahi increased the lead for Grilled to 2 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! 15 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as
Vikram Mudaliar broke through, making the score 3 - 0 for Grilled. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Grilled scored another to make it 4 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for
Moey Xin Seng after 17 minutes.
Chua Keong Hui was unable to continue, following a slight injury to his right knee after 20 minutes. This gave
Rashad Wu a chance to take to the field instead. 4 - 0 was the halftime score. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 70 percent.
Grilled's opponents know to be wary of
Cyril Künzler's speed, but it made little difference as he flew past the defence 50 minutes into the game. Only the keeper could stop him - and he did with a perfectly timed dive! After 56 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and
Moey Xin Seng gave the Grilled supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 5 - 0. After 60 minutes, the Grilled coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving
Gilbert Webb off the field.
雄輝 (Yuki) 入江 (Irie) took his place. 60 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game.
Bhavya Panigrahi gave
悠太 (Yuta) 中北 (Nakakita) a quick hug as he left the field. The referee showed KingofNoobs's
Chen Wan Qiang the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. KingofNoobs kept trying to force their way through on the right side and
Chen Wan Qiang got his chance after 66 minutes, but the home side's defence held their position and stopped the attack. As the 70 minute mark approached, the Grilled coach decided it was time for a substitution.
Chu Xin Lee reluctantly made way for
Neeraj Muthyala on the pitch. 77 minutes into the game, KingofNoobs seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a inadequate level of organisation.
Bernie Egan had a fantastic opportunity to put Grilled up another goal 78 minutes into the match after a pass through the middle set him free, but he fired just over the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, the speedy
Cyril Künzler easily outpaced
Raqilla Abbas, chipped the keeper and made the score 6 - 0. With 80 minutes played, Grilled put themselves up 7 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to
悠太 (Yuta) 中北 (Nakakita), who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Grilled to 8 - 0 as
Vikram Mudaliar finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for
Vikram Mudaliar. The players were tired, but when the referee announced that there would be 3 minutes of added time they, nonetheless, welcomed the extra opportunity to make an impact. The match ends 8 - 0. Grilled had most of the ball, with 72 percent of possession.
The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt
Bernie Egan.
雄輝 (Yuki) 入江 (Irie) was a disappointment, however.
Vyacheslav Soikin performed admirably for KingofNoobs.
Chau Hock Kim turned in a dismal performance, however.
