Kiri 5 - 0 Grilled

iv id="matchReport"> Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and Fallow Field saw a crowd turnout of 4848. Jean-Paul Lokker was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Octavian Groza and Henrique Paiva. The following players had been chosen: Tufte - Frang, Or, Donvela, Uurainen, Mai - Fodor, Kakoon, Limprecht, Chak - Siv.

Starters: Rykowski - Trung Quá, 入江 (Irie) - Velho, Thevar, Parvathaneni, Tran, Tarin - Mudaliar, Ze Han, Xin Seng.

Mondulkirin Kiri fielded a 5-4-1 lineup. For Grilled Birds, the formation of choice was 2-5-3. The strategy for Kiri was to use their formidable ability to press. They were singing the praises of Rithisak Frang 21 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 1 - 0 to Kiri. With 22 minutes played, Dante Tran" class="awayplayer">Dante Tran of Grilled fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Kiri's ability to press all over the field frequently paid dividends. The pressing tactics used by Kiri were successful as the ball remained close to the half way line at all times. 1 - 0 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Kiri, with 54 percent of the ball.

Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Grilled's Jérémy Tarin was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 46 minutes. Pompeo Bellamoli was given a chance to change things around. As Jérémy Tarin exited the field, 雄輝 (Yuki) 入江 (Irie) volunteered to be the new set pieces taker. At this time in the match, Kiri were using their skill at pressing to successfully stifle the game. With 72 minutes played, Kiri put themselves up 2 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to Yaacov Kakoon, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave Matthias Limprecht from Kiri a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 73 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! The Kiri free kick 74 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of Olli Uurainen, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 3 - 0! After 75 minutes, Kiri felt secure enough to make a tactical change. Olli Uurainen and Bence Fodor assumed each others positions on the field. The coach of Kiri was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 78 minutes, Alper Miraç came on for Yaacov Kakoon. With Yaacov Kakoon no longer on the pitch, Munney Chak took over free kick duty. Bence Fodor was the new captain of Kiri - handed the armband by the departing player. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Kiri's Rithisak Frang increasing the lead to 4 - 0. 80 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as Munney Chak broke through, making the score 5 - 0 for Kiri. The players were tired, but when the referee announced that there would be 1 minute of added time they, nonetheless, welcomed the extra opportunity to make an impact. The match ends 5 - 0. Possession in this half belonged to Kiri, who controlled the ball 58 percent of the time.

Kiri's best player was Tom Tufte. Toch Or was a disappointment, however. Grilled's top performer was clearly Moey Xin Seng" class="awayplayer">Moey Xin Seng. However, Pompeo Bellamoli made a disastrous appearance.
