Grilled 1 - 3 -Blitz-

iv id="matchReport"> 81026 spectators arrived at The Cooking Pot, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. Miquel Gargonells was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Giacomo Barbera and Saša Stamatović. Everyone was excited about the upcoming Jurong derby and the crowd was divided evenly. The following players had been chosen: Dob - 中北 (Nakakita), Webb - Künzler, Muthyala, Mohammad Harun, Xin Seng, Romijn - Mudaliar, Davlatov, Parvathaneni.

Starters: Hernalsteen - Chee Chu, Monari, Kiong Hui - Tze Chao, Yie, Frankenberger, Rey, Kamat - Labutin, Oscate.

The teams had chosen different formations for the match. Home team Grilled Birds went for 2-5-3 while -Blitz- has decided to play a 3-5-2 lineup. After 16 minutes, -Blitz-'s Nie Tze Chao made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1. After 18 minutes, Grilled were awarded a free kick. Rather than shooting straight at goal, the taker went for an indirect variant which seemed to take his team mates a bit by surprise. 悠太 (Yuta) 中北 (Nakakita) did attempt a finish, but from an awkward position, sending the ball into the away fans. -Blitz-'s Guido Frankenberger made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 33 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. After 34 minutes, -Blitz-'s Giorgio Monari burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 2. 0 - 2 was the score after the first half. -Blitz- enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 54 percent of possession.

52 minutes into the match, Elias Yie came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. It was a fine day for Florus Romijn on his wing, his cross pass to Bilal Mohammad Harun" class="homeplayer">Bilal Mohammad Harun was especially delicate 67 minutes into the game, but the keeper saved. With 75 minutes played, Kalki Parvathaneni" class="homeplayer">Kalki Parvathaneni was very close to reducing the score for Grilled with a low drive from the left, but a defender stuck his foot out just in the nick of time, blocking the shot to a corner. With 77 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed Rogger Oscate of -Blitz- to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 3. Grilled needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 80 minutes Vikram Mudaliar" class="homeplayer">Vikram Mudaliar made way for Chan Ze Han" class="homeplayer">Chan Ze Han. The bench was restless, and with 80 minutes passed Grilled's coach gave 雄輝 (Yuki) 入江 (Irie) the opportunity the player had been hoping for. 悠太 (Yuta) 中北 (Nakakita) reluctantly left the field. The home team's supporters got excited again when Neeraj Muthyala broke through the visitors' central defence and caught their keeper off guard, making it 1 - 3. The players were tired, but when the referee announced that there would be 1 minute of added time they, nonetheless, welcomed the extra opportunity to make an impact. The match ends 1 - 3. -Blitz- claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 55 percent.

Islom Davlatov performed admirably for Grilled. 雄輝 (Yuki) 入江 (Irie) was a disappointment, however. -Blitz-'s best player was Rogger Oscate. On the other hand, Ho Chee Chu's play was disheartening.
