Grilled 9 - 0 Chaos

iv id="matchReport"> The crowd of 39268 turning up at The Cooking Pot today were greeted with some nasty showers of rain. Gil Bromberg was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Fokko Blomme and Paul Demeyer. The pitch was a disaster, due to all the rain. This spelled problems for the more sophisticated players, who usually could rely on speed or technique. For those relying on grit and strength, it actually meant an edge. Starters: Seng - 中北 (Nakakita), Trung Quá - Künzler, Davlatov, Ze Han, Parvathaneni, Muthyala - Xin Seng, Mudaliar, Xin Lee.

They fielded: Errico - Sze Ah, Keng Kang, Loong Han - Ze How, How Tze, Mohd Muslim, Kong Kum, Kian Loong - De Leonardis, Mader.

The teams had chosen different formations for the match. Home team Grilled Birds went for 2-5-3 while Red Chaos has decided to play a 3-5-2 lineup. Grilled used their magical ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings. Chaos seemed to prefer attacking in the middle, taking advantage of their divine level with that tactic. Grilled had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. Islom Davlatov caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 3 minutes. This gave Grilled the 1 - 0 lead. 23 minutes in, Grilled's Islom Davlatov received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Grilled scored another to make it 2 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for Kalki Parvathaneni" class="homeplayer">Kalki Parvathaneni after 23 minutes. It was obvious that team Grilled had instructions to attack in the middle instead of on the wings. Cheers filled the stadium as Vikram Mudaliar" class="homeplayer">Vikram Mudaliar broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 3 - 0 to Grilled. 3 - 0 was the score after the first half. Grilled had most of the ball, with 60 percent of possession.

Central attacks were the recipe of the day for Grilled, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. Grilled solidified their lead at the 51 minute mark, as Chu Xin Lee" class="homeplayer">Chu Xin Lee dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 4 - 0. Chaos's Peter Mader tried his best to narrow the score with a well placed free kick, but it wasn't quite good enough and Dan Seng managed to block the shot. Grilled players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. The goal to make it 5 - 0 was scored by Chu Xin Lee" class="homeplayer">Chu Xin Lee after 56 minutes, following an opportunistic counterattack down the middle by Grilled. The coach of Grilled was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 60 minutes, 雄輝 (Yuki) 入江 (Irie) came on for Hoàng Trung Quá. After 60 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and Cyril Künzler gave the Grilled supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 6 - 0. Maybe due to the uphill battle the team was facing, the Chaos manager looked to change things around. After 70 minutes, Gan Loong Han and Kok Ze How swapped positions on the field. Grilled were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. 74 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as Cyril Künzler broke through, making the score 7 - 0 for Grilled. Grilled's Kalki Parvathaneni" class="homeplayer">Kalki Parvathaneni increased the lead to 8 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 80 minutes. With 81 minutes played, Grilled put themselves up 9 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to Chu Xin Lee" class="homeplayer">Chu Xin Lee, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. By then Chu Xin Lee" class="homeplayer">Chu Xin Lee had scored three goals - a hat trick! Neeraj Muthyala left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 88 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. Iman Eshrafi was the replacement. The referee decided to let play continue for an additional 2 minutes beyond the regular 90 minutes. The match ends 9 - 0. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 63 percent of the time.

Moey Xin Seng" class="homeplayer">Moey Xin Seng performed admirably for Grilled. Dan Seng was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Chaos player was without a doubt Abdul Wahab Mohd Muslim. Ling Sze Ah turned in a dismal performance, however.
