Grilled 1 - 5 O'Sicas

iv id="matchReport"> The rain was pouring down at the stadium today. The pitch was a disaster, due to all the rain. This spelled problems for the more sophisticated players, who usually could rely on speed or technique. For those relying on grit and strength, it actually meant an edge. Starters: Dob - 中北 (Nakakita), Trung Quá - Künzler, Muthyala, Xin Lee, Xin Seng, Romijn - Parvathaneni, Davlatov, Ze Han.

Lineup: Kosík - Khirqani, Mellemgaard, N'Doye - Pontius, Malpica, Baltanás, Mescherekov, Ragnarsson - De Gasperi, Holzbauer.

It was to be a contest between two different football philosophies, since the home team started the game with a 2-5-3 formation while the visitors instead opted for 3-5-2. The referee showed O'Sicas's Jan-Gunnar Ragnarsson the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. O'Sicas's Roby De Gasperi managed to lose the defenders as he advanced down the right wing and scored, putting the visitors ahead after 28 minutes. 0 - 1. With the crowd on their feet chanting wildly, some great moves down the right hand side after 32 minutes gave Grilled a wonderful opportunity to level the score, and Kalki Parvathaneni" class="homeplayer">Kalki Parvathaneni stepped up to the challenge. 1 - 1 After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Kalki Parvathaneni" class="homeplayer">Kalki Parvathaneni got himself booked. The manager of Grilled was not happy. Gennadiy Mescherekov always provides an aerial threat at corners, and with 38 minutes gone, he demonstrated this, outjumping his marker, then letting out an anguished howl as his powerful header went narrowly wide. Some good play on the left wing created an opportunity for the visitors 39 minutes into the match, and Jan-Gunnar Ragnarsson wasn't about to let it go by. He got past the defenders and fired a shot that the keeper just missed. 1 - 2 for the visitors. 1 - 2 was the score after the first half. Neither team was controlling the possession at this point in the match, with the stats showing a 50:50 split.

With 62 minutes played, O'Sicas put themselves up 1 - 3 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was Roby De Gasperi. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave Guido Malpica from O'Sicas a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 64 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! After 70 minutes, Grilled switched Hoàng Trung Quá with 雄輝 (Yuki) 入江 (Irie), hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. After 73 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Guido Malpica who increased O'Sicas's lead to 1 - 4. The crowd was amused as Julius Holzbauer of O'Sicas used a few interesting tricks and dribbles to get into the penalty box. The finish by Roby De Gasperi wasn't very amusing, however, as the ball flew way over the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 1 - 5 as Waly N'Doye finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. The crowd groaned when Chan Ze Han" class="homeplayer">Chan Ze Han, having maneuvered his way down the right, fired the ball just wide and missed a great opportunity to reduce the deficit for Grilled. As the match nears its end, the referee has deemed it appropriate to add 1 minute as stoppage time. The match ends 1 - 5. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by O'Sicas, with 52 percent of the ball.

Grilled's top performer was clearly Islom Davlatov. 雄輝 (Yuki) 入江 (Irie) was a disappointment, however. Most important O'Sicas player was Roby De Gasperi. On the other hand, Vilém Kosík's play was disheartening.
