Grilled 2 - 2 Cornwall

iv id="matchReport"> Lineup: Batâr - 中北 (Nakakita), 入江 (Irie) - Künzler, Muthyala, Xin Seng, Xin Lee, Romijn - Ze Han, Davlatov, Parvathaneni.

The following players had been chosen: Masson - Ramazzotto, Bondar, Filipiuk - Oestreich, Kolaković, Reder, Revello, Csehi - Boons, Hoffman.

The teams had chosen different formations for the match. Home team Grilled Birds went for 2-5-3 while Cornwall Pylons has decided to play a 3-5-2 lineup. Cornwall clearly preferred using their divine ability to attack in the middle. A lovely run by Grilled's Cyril Künzler left his markers for dead and should have resulted in a goal, but the finish went just wide. 13 minutes into the match and the home team took a 1 - 0 lead after breaking through on the left. The scorer for Grilled was Florus Romijn. Florus Romijn dispatched a majestic long shot 14 minutes into the match, but missed the goal by a few metres. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. Islom Davlatov squirmed through their central defence after 15 minutes, increasing the lead to 2 - 0. The visitors got a chance to pull one back after 23 minutes, as the home defence went to sleep, leaving Josef Hoffman completely unmarked in the middle. His strike was pathetic though, and dribbled into the arms of the home side's keeper. After 29 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by Islom Davlatov might have resulted in another goal for Grilled. However, Olivier Masson made a spectacular save. It was 2 - 0 at the break. Grilled had most of the ball, with 55 percent of possession.

Cornwall's Ognjen Kolaković got himself booked for a foul. Islom Davlatov should probably have put his team up another goal after 62 minutes after breaking through the middle, but some great goalkeeping by Olivier Masson kept the visitors in the game. Cornwall had a fair chance to reply after 63 minutes due to some fine moves down the left, but in the end Soma Csehi was slow to keep up with the play and was unable to make it into the penalty box to apply a finish. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Grilled coach let Mohammad Ramli Saliman replace Neeraj Muthyala after 65 minutes. With 72 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock, Cornwall showed some good skill and were able to reduce the score to 2 - 1 when Aimeric Boons got past the home side's central defenders right in front of the goal. Cornwall tied it all up, 75 minutes in, after a spectacular goal by Aimeric Boons, who miraculously broke through the home side's central defence, making it 2 - 2. Grilled made a bid to take the lead as a ball coming in on the right hand side left Islom Davlatov completely alone with keeper Olivier Masson, who made a spectacular block. The players were tired, but when the referee announced that there would be 1 minute of added time they, nonetheless, welcomed the extra opportunity to make an impact. The match ends 2 - 2. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 51 percent.

Grilled's best player was Islom Davlatov. 雄輝 (Yuki) 入江 (Irie) was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Cornwall player was without a doubt Josef Hoffman. Joel Revello on the other hand, had a terrible day.
