Grilled Birds entered the field in a 2-5-3 formation. The visitors, Really McCoys, chose to start the game with a 3-5-2 lineup. It was an obvious ambition of Really to use their divine (+6) ability at attacking on the flanks. Moey Xin Seng" class="homeplayer">Moey Xin Seng sailed high above the opponents as he headed in a corner kick from Cyril Künzler after 5 minutes of play, making the score 1 - 0. After 11 minutes a well-practised indirect free kick routine by Grilled was easily anticipated by the defenders. The players forward were so well marked, they were left with few viable options. Grilled increased the lead as Chan Ze Han" class="homeplayer">Chan Ze Han struck to make the score 2 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. Kalki Parvathaneni" class="homeplayer">Kalki Parvathaneni squirmed through their central defence after 28 minutes, increasing the lead to 3 - 0. Grilled put themselves up 4 - 0 when Neeraj Muthyala broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. The referee showed Grilled's Cyril Künzler the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. After 36 minutes, Urbano Cazzani came close to reducing the score with a free kick aimed near the left post, but Valentin Batâr warded the ball off to a corner. Cyril Künzler increased Grilled's lead to 5 - 0 with a penalty spot cannonball. Grilled's Florus Romijn had an excellent opportunity after 40 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! The teams went for the halftime break at 5 - 0. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 68 percent of the ball.

Content with how the game was proceeding, the Grilled coach let Chu Xin Lee" class="homeplayer">Chu Xin Lee replace Mohammad Ramli Saliman after 46 minutes. The Grilled players could smell victory in the air. 雄輝 (Yuki) 入江 (Irie) wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for Hoàng Trung Quá after 60 minutes. Islom Davlatov could have increased the lead after 62 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. Kalki Parvathaneni" class="homeplayer">Kalki Parvathaneni's speed was clear to see after 68 minutes, as he darted down the wing and released Chan Ze Han" class="homeplayer">Chan Ze Han who placed the ball into the back of the net to make the score 6 - 0. 悠太 (Yuta) 中北 (Nakakita) had a fantastic opportunity to put Grilled up another goal 71 minutes into the match after a pass through the middle set him free, but he fired just over the crossbar. The home side's Cyril Künzler curled a free kick home after 77 minutes, putting Grilled ahead 7 - 0. As the match nears its end, the referee has deemed it appropriate to add 2 minutes as stoppage time. The match ends 7 - 0. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 66 percent of possession.

Most important Grilled player was Islom Davlatov. Hoàng Trung Quá was a disappointment, however. Fabrizio Fornesi performed admirably for Really. Jaani Vehmas turned in a dismal performance, however.
