Both teams came out with a similar approach to the match, having chosen to start with a 2-5-3 formation. The home side put themselves ahead 1 - 0 after 4 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from Pavle Božinović, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. After 21 minutes of play, Grilled's Chu Xin Lee" class="awayplayer">Chu Xin Lee unexpectedly struck an inside out ball from no angle at all and Islom Davlatov slotted it into the net for 1 - 1. With 25 minutes played, Tigers put themselves up 3 - 1 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to Pietro Landtwing, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. Tigers had a magnificent opportunity after 29 minutes as Manfred Leogrande hit the ball hard from the edge of the penalty box. However, the shot went wide. Halftime score was 3 - 1. Grilled had most of the ball, with 51 percent of possession.

Tigers's 祐紀 (Yuki) 松島 (Matsushima) took a knock to the head after 63 minutes, due to a badly executed header. He took a few uneasy steps, but got dizzy and then taken off the field. The replacement for the injured player was Gandolfo Nini. 78 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as Bogusław Kałus broke through, making the score 4 - 2 for Tigers. As the match nears its end, the referee has deemed it appropriate to add 2 minutes as stoppage time. The match ends 4 - 2. Tigers's best player was Pavle Božinović. Gandolfo Nini was a disappointment, however. Cyril Künzler performed admirably for Grilled. 雄輝 (Yuki) 入江 (Irie) turned in a dismal performance, however.
