Grilled 1 - 9 STIKLAPETA

iv id="matchReport"> Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 3293 at The Cooking Pot today. Hanns-Axel Aweyde was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Jorge Marte and Hannu Paala. Lineup: Seng - van der Ban, bin Ahmad, Tarin, Bakhtiar - Trung Quá, Parvathaneni, Saliman, Xin Lee, Leong Kum - Xin Seng.

The following players took the field: Pfahler - Dłoniak, Guichard, Jouttijärvi - Deeb, Mørkeberg, Belmonte, Leberecht, Ágoston - Grauberg, Maleev.

Grilled Birds entered the field in a 4-5-1 formation. The visitors, FK STIKLAPETA, chose to start the game with a 3-5-2 lineup. STIKLAPETA's T. Leberecht gave the visitors a 0 - 1 lead after 8 minutes with a superb strike from the right. With 13 minutes played, STIKLAPETA put themselves up 0 - 2 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was G. Maleev. After 31 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for F. Deeb who increased STIKLAPETA's lead to 0 - 3. STIKLAPETA increased the lead to 0 - 4 as G. Maleev scored from the penalty spot, putting the ball in near the top left corner. T. Grauberg's speed was clear to see after 43 minutes, as he darted down the wing and released G. Maleev who placed the ball into the back of the net to make the score 0 - 5. This third goal completed a hattrick for G. Maleev. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 5. STIKLAPETA had most of the ball, with 52 percent of possession.

The bench was restless, and with 46 minutes passed Grilled's coach gave K. Rykowski the opportunity the player had been hoping for. D. Seng reluctantly left the field. Grilled's J. Tarin had the ball at his feet in front of goal after a quickly taken free kick after 52 minutes, but was robbed of it in the blink of an eye by an onrushing defender. G. Maleev received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 65 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 6. The STIKLAPETA fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. After 70 minutes, Grilled switched J. Tarin with M. Abdul Majid, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. As J. Tarin left the field, the coach signaled to R. van der Ban to be the new set pieces taker. The counterattacks of STIKLAPETA were deadly and 74 minutes into the game, T. Leberecht received a nice pass from the right flank, making it 0 - 7. Grilled needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 80 minutes M. Xin Seng made way for P. Bellamoli. H. Trung Quá became the new Grilled captain. G. Maleev of STIKLAPETA took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 80 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 8. After 87 minutes of play, Grilled's C. Xin Lee unexpectedly struck an inside out ball from no angle at all and P. Bellamoli slotted it into the net for 1 - 8. After 88 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave G. Maleev a chance to increase the lead for STIKLAPETA, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 1 - 9. The referee announced 3 minutes of stoppage time, giving fans a slim hope that their team could get one more attack in before this was all over. The match ends 1 - 9. STIKLAPETA enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 52 percent of possession.

Grilled's best player was M. Saliman. H. Bakhtiar on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating STIKLAPETA player was without a doubt G. Maleev. On the other hand, F. Deeb's play was disheartening.
