Many thought 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) ought to have been awarded a penalty 14 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around M. Liefke after a determined run through the middle. Grilled's L. Lee Hao had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 30 minutes having been played. L. Aik Jia was the replacement. 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) gave Grilled the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 1 - 0 The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave L. Rychtář from Warrior a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 41 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! The home team will be cursing R. Malik for weeks; he finished off a great pass from the left, knocking it past the keeper without a problem. The match was level at 1 - 1 after 42 minutes. Grilled's R. Isufi was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 43 minutes. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 1. Grilled had most of the ball, with 56 percent of possession.

The corner kick from C. Rufach was powerfully met by the head of A. Spiridonov to make the score 1 - 2. After 69 minutes, Warrior sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached R. Malik, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 1 - 3. M. bin Mohd Kassim challenged the visitors' central defence eagerly, producing a good chance 72 minutes into the game as he went for a through ball. But, as so many times before, the guests' defensive efforts got the best of it. The referee signalled a penalty 73 minutes into the game following an offence which looked like it was outside the box. C. Rufach knocked it home to make the score 1 - 4. With 89 minutes played, the Grilled coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. R. bin Ahmad came on, G. Filippone had to leave the fray. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 54 percent.

Grilled's top performer was clearly 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) . R. bin Ahmad turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Warrior player was J. McCleary. D. Blasi was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 4.
