Old Chang Picked Up
Farmer Bunnies hopeful Chang Yeng Tong secured a free transfer to newly-established Dutch Seventh Division club FC Del Mar, after almost exactly two months of looking. Chang became part of Theodoor van der Heide's handpicked bunch of signings, and their first under thirty years of age.
Rancher Rabbits scout Yip De Da admitted that he feared the worst for the 19 year-old Chang, whose relatively advanced years almost definitely worked against him. "Teams nowadays are after seventeen year-olds that they can mould in their preferred image." Yip noted. "Chang was one of our most consistent guys, but he started a year or so behind the rest, and it was always going to affect his chances."
"He's made up for it by being a workaholic at the front." Yip continued. "There are not many who will defend as a striker through ninety minutes, and Chang is one of those. If he doesn't make it in the end, it will not be due to want of effort."
