After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, L. Lee Hao got himself booked. The manager of Grilled was not happy. After 33 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) a chance to increase the lead for Grilled, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 4. 0 - 4 was the score after the first half. Grilled had most of the ball, with 86 percent of possession.

In an effort to secure the lead, Grilled changed their tactic after 46 minutes. The home crowd was not impressed when 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 47 minutes. Grilled were now up 0 - 5. With 52 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed L. Wan Kang of Grilled to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 6. Grilled's R. van der Ban got himself booked for a foul. Holland's D. Li-Xue went down after a savage challenge, but could continue playing after some medical attention. S. Kong-Hoi enjoyed the sunshine and demonstrated his stunning technique over and over again. A drive down the left side allowed Z. Jing Wei to get in close and score another goal for Grilled after 67 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 7. C. Awyong of Grilled took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 73 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 8. 74 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 9 as L. Lee Hao finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. With 77 minutes played, H. Bakhtiar of Grilled fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. C. Awyong left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 80 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. L. Nguyen was the replacement. The coach of Grilled was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 80 minutes, D. Bögengang came on for L. Wan Kang. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 89 percent of the time.

S. Hung-Chang performed admirably for Holland. On the other hand, X. Chanitai's play was disheartening. Grilled's best player was L. Lee Hao. However, R. van der Ban made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 9.
