Cloud 0 - 10 Grilled

iv id="matchReport"> Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and Cloud Arena saw a crowd turnout of 12000. Vidar Moen was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Sandro de Abreo and Federico Giuliato. Everyone was excited about the upcoming Jurong derby and the crowd was divided evenly. Cloud started off with a 4-4-2 lineup. The following players took the field: Meng Dong - Chau, Pon, Chee Keng, Chang Yao - Su Chee, Lee Wee, Siong Ping, Yam - Han Wan, Vu.

Grilled had chosen a strategic 2-5-3 formation. Starters: Tian Han - bin Ahmad, Bakhtiar - 勇航 (Yonghang) , Won, Meyer, Prabhu, Jing Wei - bin Mohd Kassim, Isufi, Ying Lee.

Grilled seemed to prefer attacking in the middle. A mistake by the home side's central defence after 8 minutes allowed C. Ying Lee to score for Grilled. The scoreboard now read 0 - 1. R. bin Ahmad was, after 9 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper S. Meng Dong made the save. After 10 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave C. Ying Lee a chance to increase the lead for Grilled, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 2. We may never know what H. Bakhtiar was thinking when he tried to pass the ball through a crowd of opponents. Luckily for him, Cloud's A. Yam somehow missed the wide open net. After 21 minutes, Grilled's C. Ying Lee burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 3. This third goal completed a hattrick for C. Ying Lee. Confident in their lead, Grilled's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. R. Isufi received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 24 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 4. The Grilled fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. In a rapid move 31 minutes into the match, R. Isufi of Grilled lost his man and passed the ball to the unmarked M. bin Mohd Kassim who easily hit it home to make it 0 - 5. Luckily the ref didn't see him taunting the opposing fans in celebration - naughty boy! The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 5. Grilled had most of the ball, with 92 percent of possession.

47 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 6 as M. bin Mohd Kassim finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. After 52 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for M. bin Mohd Kassim who increased Grilled's lead to 0 - 7. That made three goals for M. bin Mohd Kassim and he was marked down for the hat trick. 77 minutes into the game, Grilled were awarded a penalty and R. Isufi was able to increase the visitors' lead to 0 - 8 rolling the ball in by the right post. The visitors added to their lead 79 minutes into the game, after a sensational penalty kick by Grilled's R. Isufi slid just past the home keeper. 0 - 9. By then R. Isufi had scored three goals - a hat trick! Content with how the game was proceeding, the Grilled coach let L. Wan Kang replace M. bin Mohd Kassim after 80 minutes. The visitors' C. Won took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 81 minutes into the match. 0 - 10 for Grilled. The referee showed Cloud's X. Pon the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. R. bin Ahmad left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 89 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. J. Cisquell was the replacement. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 94 percent.

Most important Cloud player was A. Yam. On the other hand, X. Pon's play was disheartening. C. Ying Lee performed admirably for Grilled. However, H. Bakhtiar made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 10.
