Grilled started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Rykowski - Bakhtiar, bin Ahmad, van der Ban - Bellamoli, Won, Prabhu, Filippone, Aik Jia - Wan Kang, Ying Lee.

The visiting R. bin Ahmad was booed thoroughly by the home crowd 15 minutes into the game, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 0 - 1 was the score. P. Bellamoli of Grilled displayed some of his fantastic technical abilities when he brought the ball down neatly using his instep before nutmegging the bewildered N. aan de Wiel and smashing an unstoppable shot past the goalkeeper to make it 0 - 2. With 19 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed L. Aik Jia of Grilled to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 3. After this, you could see that the players of Grilled were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. With 23 minutes played, B. Bourdier was very close to reducing the score for Paramaribo with a low drive from the left, but a defender stuck his foot out just in the nick of time, blocking the shot to a corner. After the ball was lifted in from the left, G. Filippone was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 33 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. C. Won neatly controlled the ball after a short corner, and knocked it on to H. Bakhtiar who had the whole net open before him, but only managed to hit the post. The home crowd was not impressed when L. Wan Kang came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 37 minutes. Grilled were now up 0 - 4. Halftime score was 0 - 4. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 69 percent of the time.

After 46 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for L. Aik Jia who increased Grilled's lead to 0 - 5. Grilled's L. Aik Jia was shown a yellow card after 52 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Grilled increased their lead after 61 minutes when L. Aik Jia broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 6, much to the home crowd's dismay. At that, L. Aik Jia was noted down for a hat trick! Some fine movement on the left led to a Grilled goal after 62 minutes, making it 0 - 7. L. Wan Kang was noted down as the scorer. The visitors' H. Prabhu took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 68 minutes into the match. 0 - 8 for Grilled. After 73 minutes Paramaribo's H. Kuchta limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. Paramaribo's N. aan de Wiel cut towards the middle after 74 minutes, receiving a brilliant pass and slicing through the visiting team's central defence, reducing the lead to 1 - 8. P. Bellamoli almost seemed to dance around J. Vicu�a, his movements were so smooth. Unfortunately for Grilled, his finish ended up on the wrong side of the post. G. Filippone of Grilled was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. H. Prabhu left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 85 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. S. Fu was the replacement. The coach of Grilled was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 89 minutes, J. Cisquell came on for H. Bakhtiar. Grilled had most of the ball, with 72 percent of possession.

Paramaribo's top performer was clearly O. Sinisalo. N. aan de Wiel on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt C. Ying Lee. On the other hand, R. van der Ban's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 8.
