In a rapid move 47 minutes into the match, L. Aik Jia of Grilled lost his man and passed the ball to the unmarked M. bin Mohd Kassim who easily hit it home to make it 2 - 0. Luckily the ref didn't see him taunting the opposing fans in celebration - naughty boy! By now, the players in Grilled felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Grilled's C. Meyer increasing the lead to 3 - 0. C. Ying Lee left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 80 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. R. Isufi was the replacement. With 83 minutes played, J. Schaekers of Solgasset fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. After 84 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and W. Ping Shun gave the Grilled supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 4 - 0. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 60 percent of possession.

Grilled's top performer was clearly 田. 勇航 (Yonghang). However, L. Lee Hao made a disastrous appearance. Most important Solgasset player was T. Ponticelli. S. Puhl was a disappointment, however. The match ends 4 - 0.
