Grilled 6 - 2 Flames

iv id="matchReport"> Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and The Cooking Pot saw a crowd turnout of 62047. Anders Foldgast was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Jesús Ojinaga and Bogdan Tatulescu. Grilled started off with a 2-5-3 lineup. Starters: Tian Han - Lee Hao, Filippone - Ping Shun, Shun An, 长春 (Changchun), Jing Wei, Aik Jia - bin Mohd Kassim, 勇航 (Yonghang) , Ying Lee.

Flames had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. Lineup: Alarcó - Strandheim, Zolich, Tufeanu - Dotan, Trémoulet, Van Dyck, Debert, Rajeczki - Stetson, Lakatos.

Flames showed off their creative tactics. A well placed corner kick from A. Dotan was followed by P. Strandheim's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for Flames, the score now 0 - 1. 13 minutes into the game, L. Aik Jia came close to levelling the score with a dangerous shot from the centre of the area that went just over the bar. Always a threat, L. Aik Jia tore past his marker and placed the ball right at the feet of the waiting 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) who should have easily scored for Grilled, but the ball went wide. After 35 minutes of play, L. Lee Hao evened things up for Grilled with an impressive goal coming up the middle. 1 - 1. Flames's B. Zolich was shown a yellow card after 37 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Grilled were forced into a substitution as Z. Jing Wei couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing C. Meyer to come in off the bench. Grilled broke through on the left 39 minutes into the game, with L. Lee Hao firing in from an acute angle to give the home side a 2 - 1 lead. Grilled's L. Lee Hao got himself booked for a foul. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 1. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 55 percent of the time.

After 52 minutes, the visitors tied it up at 2 - 2 when a fantastic pass from the left was finished off by E. Lakatos. With 58 minutes played, L. Aik Jia of Grilled fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. 63 minutes into the game, Grilled's L. Lee Hao surprised the visitors with a raking cross-field pass to 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) who easily found the back of the net, making the score 3 - 2. After 76 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and C. Ying Lee gave the Grilled supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 4 - 2. Grilled increased the lead as M. bin Mohd Kassim struck to make the score 5 - 2 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. Against a lesser team, Flames could very well have succeeded with their smart indirect free kick routine after 82 minutes. A trio of passes took the ball all the way past the defenders, but by then the intended recipient was already blocked off and the keeper could make a leisurely save. In a rapid move 84 minutes into the match, L. Aik Jia of Grilled lost his man and passed the ball to the unmarked M. bin Mohd Kassim who easily hit it home to make it 6 - 2. Luckily the ref didn't see him taunting the opposing fans in celebration - naughty boy! Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 56 percent of the ball.

Most important Grilled player was 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) . However, L. Lee Hao made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating Flames player was without a doubt R. Stetson. P. Strandheim was a disappointment, however. The match ends 6 - 2.
