Clever play that showed his experience gave M. bin Mohd Kassim a good chance to score, but the shot hit the crossbar. Grilled fans held their breath as C. Ying Lee scampered down the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the shot for 2 - 1! V. Meda of Joker was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. 2 - 1 was the score after the first half. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 59 percent of possession.

The Grilled players could smell victory in the air. L. Lee Hao wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for Z. Jing Wei after 46 minutes. With 47 minutes played, the visitors could have drawn level after V. Iriztain came through the middle, but his shot went wide. 56 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as C. Ying Lee broke through, making the score 3 - 1 for Grilled. Cheers filled the stadium as W. Ping Shun broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 4 - 1 to Grilled. Confident in their lead, Grilled's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, K. van Wijngaarden got himself booked. The manager of Joker was not happy. The visitors got one back when K. van Wijngaarden finished off a pass from the left and scored after 74 minutes. 4 - 2 was the score. L. Aik Jia had a fantastic opportunity to put Grilled up another goal 77 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 60 percent of the ball.

田. 勇航 (Yonghang) performed admirably for Grilled. G. Filippone was a disappointment, however. Most important Joker player was V. Iriztain. N. Naik turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 4 - 2.
