Au Kong Seng became the first Rancher Rabbits graduate to get recruited by the Bunnies' senior side in a while, as he was handed the Number 33 jersey together with an apprentice contract of S$2000 a month by head coach
Elias van Dal.
van Dal reiterated that Au had made it on his own merits. "We have been watching his development closely, and are of the opinion that he has something to offer. He's physical but in a smart way, and that assertiveness has got to be valued."
Au, who had been rejected by Pizdzisko's youth outfit, was clearly delighted at this turn of events, as he embraced his Rabbits replacement Wee Yi Hao. "I'll be sure to make the most of the faith Mr. van Dal has placed in me."
