With 42 minutes played, Grilled put themselves up 1 - 4 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was L. Aik Jia. The corner kick from W. Ping Shun was powerfully met by the head of M. bin Mohd Kassim to make the score 1 - 5. This third goal completed a hattrick for M. bin Mohd Kassim. By now, the players in Grilled felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. 朱. 长春 (Changchun) came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. Jing Wei wanted to play on, but the Grilled coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 75 minutes into the game by C. Meyer. Grilled's C. Ying Lee made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 75 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. Grilled had most of the ball, with 58 percent of possession.
