A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 55283 to Ground Zero. Alban Chanson was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Guido Algoet and Tommy Keller. Grilled tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. They fielded: Tian Han - 福泉 (Fuquan) , Filippone, bin Ahmad - Ping Shun, Shun An, 长春 (Changchun), Jing Wei, Aik Jia - Ying Lee, 勇航 (Yonghang).

Void focused on getting players in position for long range shots. An accurate cross from A. Burczyk of Void was met with a wonderful glancing header from R. Kjellholt, hitting the inside base of the post before nestling into the back of the net for 1 - 0. Grilled were close to putting the equaliser away after 31 minutes as the opposing defence lost control of the ball to G. Filippone in a scuffle towards the left of the goal, but in the end the ball was cleared over the dead ball line. 1 - 0 was the score after the first half. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 55 percent of the time.

After 53 minutes, the visitors levelled the scores after 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) made it through the middle and struck home to make it 1 - 1. With 78 minutes played, the visitors broke through on the right after some poor defending. Z. Jing Wei put the ball away for 1 - 2. After a fatal mistake from the away team's right side defence 79 minutes into the match, an alert B. Goekint bagged the ball for Void, levelling the score to 2 - 2. L. Aik Jia wasn't much help defensively. His energy-consuming forward runs proved quite costly in the oppressive heat. 85 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game. R. bin Ahmad gave Q. Madaini a quick hug as he left the field. 88 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Grilled substitution. A. bin Jantan came on for C. Ying Lee. After 88 minutes, the Grilled coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) off the field. C. bin Sabtu took his place. As the captain was no longer on the pitch, Q. Madaini took over the role of being the Grilled captain. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.

The most dominating Void player was without a doubt R. Kjellholt. J. Markmann was a disappointment, however. Z. Jing Wei performed admirably for Grilled. However, L. Aik Jia made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 2 - 2.
