After 34 minutes a very unfortunate collision in the penalty area led to Kranji's W. Soon Ming being carried off the pitch and replaced by L. Mei Kao. After 41 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave 凌. 福泉 (Fuquan) a chance to increase the lead for Grilled, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 3. A lack of experience caused H. bin Muhammad to make a difficult dribble close to dangerous opponent 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) of Grilled, who took the opportunity to score making it 0 - 4. Kranji's E. Leng Jin had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 43 minutes having been played. M. bin Mohd Hanifa was the replacement. Z. Jing Wei received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 44 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 5. The players of Grilled now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. After 66 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for 朱. 长春 (Changchun) who increased Grilled's lead to 0 - 7. The visitors' Z. Jing Wei took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 70 minutes into the match. 0 - 8 for Grilled. G. Filippone left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 75 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. Q. Madaini was the replacement. Wan Kang a chance to increase the lead for Grilled, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 11. The Grilled players could smell victory in the air. L. Wan Kang wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for C. bin Sabtu after 85 minutes. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 90 percent of the ball.
