17 year-old defensive midfielder Au Chi Wan moved to German Division Seven club Bahamus Wuppertal for a modest S$80000 today, beating out sustained interest from AFC Smartie (Dutch Division Seven), Juventus F.C. 2013 (Italian Division Nine), PICHONES87 (Spanish Division Seven) and SC Decapod 10 (German Division Nine).
FC Stammetje (Dutch Division Eight) and active local side Westral FC, who coincidentally are in the process of shifting former Wings member Hu Banghan, made enquiries too. Au, who becomes part of Miljan Dabić's new youth regime, boosted further by the S$1.9 million signing of flamboyant Italian winger Daniele Burato, revealed that the long history of his new side was a big plus for him.
