Grilled 1 - 2 Ultimate

24 punters turned up at The Cooking Pot, and despite threatening clouds on the horizon, no rain came. Ambrosio Zuñiga was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Jim Brinkley and Per Klangman. Grilled decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. The following players had been chosen: Seng - Ross, Madaini, Bakhtiar - Shaahee, bin Mohd Kassim, 勇航 (Yonghang) , Ying Lee, 福泉 (Fuquan) - Bacelar, Wan Kang.

Ultimate had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. The following players took the field: Ribeiro Vieira - Strunge, Espinoza, Vega - Torrealba, Yépez, Alamilla, Rangel, Castillejo - Vázquez, Antunez.

Grilled saw most attack opportunities on the wings. At 2 minutes played, Djan Bacelar came in from the right with the intention of giving Grilled the lead, but his rocket of a shot rattled the crossbar. 6 minutes into the match and the home team took a 1 - 0 lead after breaking through on the left. The scorer for Grilled was Chow Ying Lee. Players in Grilled heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Leong Wan Kang got himself booked. The manager of Grilled was not happy. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 0. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 64 percent of the ball.

Content with how the game was proceeding, the Grilled coach let 梁. 力勇 (Liyong) replace 凌. 福泉 (Fuquan) after 46 minutes. 65 minutes in, Ultimate's Gabriel Alamilla received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Grilled were determined to attack on the wing and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favour of the wings. The visitors' Moisés Espinoza was alert after a cross coming in from the left, levelling the score at 1 - 1 after 81 minutes. Slack defending gave Grilled a chance to take the lead with 84 minutes played, but Leong Wan Kang's cross from the left flank was fumbled in front of the goal and easily dealt with by the opposition. Ultimate's Douglas Antunez was shown a yellow card after 85 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Djan Bacelar would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. Y. Lefébure entered the game for Grilled as the match clock showed 88 minutes. As the 88 minute mark approached, the Grilled coach decided it was time for a substitution. Leong Wan Kang reluctantly made way for Gleb Dorogan on the pitch. Grilled had most of the ball, with 67 percent of possession.

With the scores being level after 90 minutes, the match went into extra time. After a fine move down the middle 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) nearly gave the home side a goal after 101 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide. A. Vázquez sailed high above the opponents as he headed in a corner kick from Valerio Castillejo after 106 minutes of play, making the score 1 - 2. Extra time over, Ultimate were the victors! Most important Grilled player was Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim. On the other hand, Hilal Bakhtiar">Hilal Bakhtiar's play was disheartening. Ultimate's top performer was clearly Eduardo Ribeiro Vieira. Bruno Torrealba on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 2.
