Grilled 6 - 0 Buchlinge
rk skies made the crowd of 3783 at
The Cooking Pot a little nervous, but the rain held off.
Per Olsson was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Rudolf Hermann and
Lukas Bieri. Grilled tactics involved an interesting 2-5-3 combination. The following players had been chosen: Seng - bin Ahmad, Ross - 尊文 (Zunwen) , bin Mohd Kassim, 勇航 (Yonghang) , Ying Lee, 福泉 (Fuquan) - Bellamoli, Bacelar, Wan Kang.
A 4-5-1 alignment was the formation of choice for Buchlinge. Lineup: Davalillo - Carioca, Martínez, Petros, Loukkaanhuhta - Ferrer, Matos, Barbera, Hunck, Soheili - Maldonado.
Grilled tried to focus their attacks down the middle.
Leong Wan Kang caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 17 minutes. This gave Grilled the 1 - 0 lead. Cheers filled the stadium as
Chow Ying Lee broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 2 - 0 to Grilled. With 20 minutes played,
Chow Ying Lee could have brought this one home for Grilled as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high.
Rashid bin Ahmad increased the lead for Grilled to 3 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! Grilled solidified their lead at the 31 minute mark, as
田. 勇航 (Yonghang) dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 4 - 0. After this, you could see that the players of Grilled were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. 4 - 0 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 74 percent of the ball.
The Grilled players could smell victory in the air.
凌. 福泉 (Fuquan) wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for
梁. 力勇 (Liyong) after 46 minutes. Grilled players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. 48 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as
Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim broke through, making the score 5 - 0 for Grilled. The home side's
Pompeo Bellamoli came close to extending the lead 60 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but
Gumersindo Davalillo managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
Rafael Hunck from Buchlinge a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 64 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Grilled's
Chow Ying Lee went down after a savage challenge, but could continue playing after some medical attention.
Djan Bacelar's curling free kick almost found the goal for Grilled, but the visitors' keeper somehow managed to get ahold of it. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Grilled's
Djan Bacelar increasing the lead to 6 - 0.
Walter Ross wanted to play on, but the Grilled coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 75 minutes into the game by
Gleb Dorogan.
Pompeo Bellamoli left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 85 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead.
Colby Awyong was the replacement. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 76 percent of possession.
Rashid bin Ahmad performed admirably for Grilled. However,
Dan Seng made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating Buchlinge player was without a doubt
D. Martínez.
José Roberto Carioca on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 6 - 0.
