Grilled 6 - 0 ManBoong

ercast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 2924 at The Cooking Pot today. František Vrtilka was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Mauro Milana and Víctor de Tena. Grilled started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. The following players took the field: Noubaryan - Bakhtiar, Ross, Awyong - 福泉 (Fuquan) , bin Mohd Kassim, Ying Lee, 勇航 (Yonghang) , Shaahee - Bacelar, Bellamoli.

ManBoong tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. They fielded: Ettrich - Masandukas, Dropa, Jang - Hanemaayer, Plancke, Lim, Son, Miljanić - Kim, Paljakka.

Grilled saw most attack opportunities on the wings. Going for long shots seemed to be the strategy in use by ManBoong. Grilled took the lead 8 minutes in, as Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim broke through on the left and put the 1 - 0 shot just beyond the reach of the outstretched keeper. Grilled were determined to attack on the wing and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favour of the wings. After 15 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim gave the Grilled supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 2 - 0. By now, the players in Grilled felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. After 21 minutes, Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim put Grilled ahead 3 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. By then Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim had scored three goals - a hat trick! 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) was ever so close to scoring after an excellent corner was beautifully flicked on by Pompeo Bellamoli, but the ball bounced off the post to safety. 33 minutes into the match Djan Bacelar put Grilled ahead 4 - 0 with a truly marvelous free kick. 4 - 0 was the score after the first half. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 61 percent of the time.

The coach of Grilled was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 46 minutes, 梁. 力勇 (Liyong) came on for 凌. 福泉 (Fuquan) . The Grilled players could smell victory in the air. Pompeo Bellamoli wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for Leong Wan Kang after 46 minutes. Walter Ross unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide. Grilled's Djan Bacelar increased the lead to 5 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 76 minutes. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Grilled to 6 - 0 as Shiya Shaahee finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. Grilled had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead. Grilled put in a good effort on the right, but 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) saw his volley fly wide of the mark 86 minutes into the game. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 65 percent.

Grilled's best player was Shiya Shaahee. On the other hand, Hovaness Noubaryan's play was disheartening. Most important ManBoong player was Ville Paljakka. However, Oldrich Ettrich made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 6 - 0.
