Grilled 6 - 3 Chelsea

irly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 4933 to The Cooking Pot. Kaare Nilsen was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Greg Borckmann and Manu Vikman. Grilled decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. Starters: Noubaryan - Bakhtiar, Gudivada, Awyong - bin Jantan, Djekshenkulov, bin Mohd Kassim, Ying Lee, 勇航 (Yonghang) - 恒才 (Hengcai), Yong Yau.

Chelsea had chosen a strategic 4-3-3 formation. The following players took the field: Schweiger - Heilek, Anzelj, da Marteiro, Miceli - Vivez, Dordea, Cavallo - Mathiesen, Marschhaeuser, Yatim.

Grilled showed off their creative tactics. Grilled could have put themselves ahead after 11 minutes but 唐 (Tang) 恒才 (Hengcai) missed a volley shot on a ball coming in from the right. Mayur Gudivada was very close to giving Grilled the lead with an ingenious free kick routine 26 minutes into the match, but the ball just grazed the bar. Some good play on the left wing created an opportunity for the visitors 32 minutes into the match, and Nedo Cavallo wasn't about to let it go by. He got past the defenders and fired a shot that the keeper just missed. 0 - 1 for the visitors. 35 minutes into the match, Grilled's Chow Ying Lee maneuvered his way around the opposition on the left flank, delighting the crowd with his twists and turns. The effort paid off as the ball found the back of the net, evening the score at 1 - 1. The home side put themselves ahead 2 - 1 after 36 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from Seytek Djekshenkulov, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. 37 minutes into the match, Alexis da Marteiro bent a free kick around the home team's defensive formation, leaving the keeper with no chance for a save. Chelsea had levelled the scoreline at 2 - 2. There was concern in the stands when, at the 38 minute mark, Chelsea's Ulli Marschhaeuser hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 2. Grilled had most of the ball, with 66 percent of possession.

Mayur Gudivada would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. Pompeo Bellamoli entered the game for Grilled as the match clock showed 46 minutes. 46 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Grilled substitution. Hung Wee Li came on for Teo Yong Yau. As the 46 minute mark approached, the Grilled coach decided it was time for a substitution. 唐 (Tang) 恒才 (Hengcai) reluctantly made way for Leong Wan Kang on the pitch. Chelsea's Nedo Cavallo managed to lose the defenders as he advanced down the right wing and scored, putting the visitors ahead after 54 minutes. 2 - 3. Grilled's Abdul bin Jantan put his head to a well placed ball, lifted in from the left, and scored to make the score 3 - 3 with 56 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock. Grilled's Seytek Djekshenkulov got himself booked for a foul. Grilled took the lead after 77 minutes as a result of Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim's peach of a shot from the right hand side of the box - placed beautifully in the top corner. 4 - 3. 78 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim broke through, making the score 5 - 3 for Grilled. The Grilled free kick 79 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of 田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) , who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 6 - 3! 81 minutes into the game, Grilled seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to inadequate. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 70 percent of the time.

Grilled's best player was Seytek Djekshenkulov. Pompeo Bellamoli turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating Chelsea player was without a doubt Soufiane Yatim. On the other hand, Friedhelm Heilek's play was disheartening. The match ends 6 - 3.
