The home crowd was not pleased with that one. Grilled's players now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. After 32 minutes of game time, Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but Wang You De was in the right place and tipped the ball to a corner. A drive on the left side allowed Grilled's Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim to get in close and score a goal after 36 minutes, leading to 0 - 3. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 3. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Grilled, with an impressive 65 percent possession of the ball.

Grilled's Slavcho Tzonkov wanted to play on, but 80 minutes into the game the decision was made to substitute him for Qassem Madaini. newbies refused to be intimidated and, breaking through the middle, Raja Sahu managed to slip the ball home for 2 - 4. With 85 minutes played, Grilled put themselves up 2 - 5 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was Wardi Azhari. A thrilling play through the middle 86 minutes into the match gave Grilled's Alex Fonseca a chance to increase the lead, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 2 - 6. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 68 percent of possession.

newbies's best player was 葛 (Ge) 汉锦 (Hanjin). Tan Heng Kim on the other hand, had a terrible day. Grilled's top performer was clearly 林 (Lin) 俊桂 (Jungui). Paolo Iten was a disappointment, however. The match ends 2 - 6.
