Montenegro ex-international Vukota Crkvenjakov's two-minute appearance against Shadow spirit turned out to be his last for the Birds, as the soon-to-be-35 year-old transferred to Division Three side mosueinashuebox for S$400 000. His new club have just advanced to the fifth round of the Cup having squeaked past the free-scoring Snowman Athletic, 5-4, and Vukota must be a welcome addition to the Serangoon club's backline.

Vukota had been less than happy at being kept out of the first team, with his 57 appearances coming mostly at the beginning of his six-season tenure, and with spots looking fewer and further between given Stanca's preference for a 2-5-3, coupled with the reliability of Qassem Madaini and Lin Jungui, a move to extend his career made the most sense.
