Zhuang Bursts Through
Bulky 17-year old Zhuang Beng Kwang moved to Polish Division Seven club FC Grzegorzów for S$42000, over another serious offer from Lazio-based Italian Division Eight side, The Roo Shooter. Zhuang, who has yet to find his ideal position in offence, was simply relieved to start his career.
"He was downcast after not receiving any strong interest despite performing well in several trials after his graduation from the youth academy, but I was never in any doubt that he would find a team." scout Lim Hock Puay, who discovered Zhuang during a neighbourhood tournament, said.
