For their match strategy, Grilled had decided to use their ability to counter-attack whenever possible. As Ângelo Cunha Simões was substituted 46 minutes into the game, he could take comfort in the fact that his team was in the lead. 鄭 (Zheng) 力海 (Lihai) was the replacement. Grilled solidified their lead at the 71 minute mark, as 封 (Feng) 达荣 (Darong) manoeuvered the ball through the opposing central defence and finished for 3 - 1. 72 minutes in and an amazing pass from the left side resulted in a goal for the visitors, as Kirill Makaryin charged ahead and scored, reducing to 3 - 2. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Cochrane , with an impressive 57 percent possession of the ball.

Martin Torsson performed admirably for Grilled. Chan Woon Jin turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating Cochrane player was without a doubt Corrado Di Dato. Silvester Javorek on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 3 - 2.
