Many thought Gustavo Miguel Moreno ought to have been awarded a penalty 6 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around Valdir Dias Paes after a determined run through the middle. The referee showed Grilled's Maikel Rotteveel the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. After 18 minutes, Grilled's Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1. The game had been on for 34 minutes when Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim broke through on the right, upping the score for Grilled to 0 - 2, much to the home crowd's dismay. The coach of Grilled was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 35 minutes, Safri bin Mohamad came on for Maikel Rotteveel. As Domenik Bögengang was substituted 35 minutes into the game, he could take comfort in the fact that his team was in the lead. Martin Torsson was the replacement. A defender managed to keep the ball from crossing the goal-line after a curling shot coming in from the right from Martin Torsson after 37 minutes, and prevented Grilled from going up another goal. 0 - 2 was the score after the first half. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

After 54 minutes, Kristof Drieskens had a good opportunity to reduce the scoreline for De_Sangkakala with a chance created through the middle, but wasn't cool enough. The ball went miles over the bar. Players in Grilled heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead. With 57 minutes played, Grilled put themselves up 0 - 3 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was Martin Torsson. At this point in the game, defending their lead became the main priority for Grilled. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Grilled coach let Edvaldo Mourão replace Quah Han Kok after 60 minutes. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Grilled, with an impressive 52 percent possession of the ball.

The most dominating De_Sangkakala player was without a doubt Gustavo Miguel Moreno. Héctor Argentino Guevara turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Grilled player was Valdir Dias Paes. Björn Olsson on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 3.
