Grilled 1 - 4 Angel
e weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 56379 had shown up at The Cooking Pot for the match.
Ulfried Pott-Körner was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Björn Pletschacher and
Timothy Somers. Everyone was excited about the upcoming
West derby and the crowd was divided evenly. Grilled had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. The following players had been chosen: Dias Paes - Talib, Lik-Tsun, Ãrva - Penati, Branbilla, Han Kok, MacKinnon, å·åŸŽ (Chuancheng) - Rotteveel, bin Ku Zainol.
Angel decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. Starters: Sapir - Bjerrum, Freituxe, Czwakiel - Arenile, Santa-Maria, 晓赋 (Xiaofu) , Chang Sun, Heuvel - Devi, Ying Eng.
Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of Grilled.
Maikel Rotteveel gave Grilled the lead with 1 - 0, as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then placed the ball unreachably at the keeper's right post. Grilled's
Matthias Branbilla got himself booked for a foul. Angel tied it all up, 26 minutes in, after a spectacular goal by
Tan Ying Eng, who miraculously broke through the home side's central defence, making it 1 - 1. The guests took the lead 38 minutes into the match, after a right-side attack resulted in
Zenón Freituxe scoring the 1 - 2 goal. 1 - 2 was the score after the first half. Angel claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 58 percent.
Angel's
Gregorio Arenile made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 56 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender sprang up, clearing the ball on the line. 68 minutes in, Angel's
Gregorio Arenile received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. A series of fine plays up the middle should have led to a goal for Grilled, but
John MacKinnon's shot went over the bar. 78 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 1 - 3 as
Aghor Devi finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. With 80 minutes played, a phenomenal play on the left side freed
Tan Ying Eng, of Angel, to dash through and score another goal for the visitors. The score was then 1 - 4. At this point in the game, defending their lead became the main priority for Angel. 81 minutes into the match,
Julian Heuvel came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Angel, with an impressive 60 percent possession of the ball.
Grilled's top performer was clearly
Valdir Dias Paes.
Han Lik-Tsun on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Angel player was without a doubt
Zenón Freituxe.
Thomas Bjerrum was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 4.
