It was an obvious ambition of Grilled to use their ability at attacking on the flanks. The home crowd was not impressed by the fancy moves of Grilled's Maikel Rotteveel after 2 minutes. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 0 - 1 lead. Some things can only be learned through experience, and 戴 (Dai) 维励 (Weili) should take his lesson to heart after nearly giving Grilled a goal with 7 minutes of the match played. After the ball was lifted in from the left, John MacKinnon was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 34 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. The game had been on for 37 minutes when Subri bin Ku Zainol broke through on the right, upping the score for Grilled to 0 - 2, much to the home crowd's dismay. The away team's Maikel Rotteveel took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 38 minutes which increased Grilled's lead to 0 - 3. By now, Grilled were drawing the troops back in order to defend their lead. After 40 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed Maikel Rotteveel to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 4. By then Maikel Rotteveel was a three time scorer - a hat trick! 0 - 4 was the score after the first half. This half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 85 percent of the time.

Maikel Rotteveel increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley shot away on a pass from the right. 0 - 5. After 48 minutes, Grilled's 范 (Fan) 川城 (Chuancheng) burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 6. The visitors' Subri bin Ku Zainol took advantage of an error due to a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and central backs 70 minutes into the match. 0 - 7 for Grilled. Grilled made it 0-8 as Maikel Rotteveel knocked the corner kick to 范 (Fan) 川城 (Chuancheng) who whipped a low drive in off the far post. The home crowd was not impressed when Quah Han Kok came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 74 minutes. Grilled were now up 0 - 9. 79 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 10 as Maikel Rotteveel finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Grilled, with an impressive 87 percent possession of the ball.

The most dominating cloudnine player was without a doubt Kang Tse Wee. 魏 (Wei) 中华 (Zhonghua) turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Grilled player was Valdir Dias Paes. Martin Torsson on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 10.
