Peng Bounces Down Under
Tall 18-year old forward Peng Ruode accepted a free transfer to rising Oceanian Division Six club 2007 Kangaroos, where he will begin his professional career in their blue and white stripes. It was a difficult choice to make for Peng, who was approached by reputable local Division Two side, United Warrior Team, too.
"In the end, I figured this was a good time to see the world." the polytechnic student said. "The flexible educational arrangements over there made it an even bigger draw, though I hope I get a raise soon. S$3000 a month doesn't go tha far here."
