17 year-old utility player Tan Huat Loong was dealt to Chilean Division Seven side CA Lagred for S$24 000, on the third day of the Lunar New Year. Tan, who managed to cram his red packet collection into the first two days, was all smiles at his double bounty.
Local Division Five club Joejos78 FC, QFC (Denmark Division Nine), FC Rodenbach (German Division Eleven), Gooreinde (Belgian Division Ten), Deer Park Rangers (Swiss Division Nine) and Vicks RCF (Japan Division Four) were the other interested parties. CA Lagred finally triumphed after intense last minute negotiations as Gooreinde pushed them, but will now be satisfied with Tan, a "natural passer of the ball".
