e to an all-day shower, 69430 paying spectators got to see a match on a pitch-turned-bog at The Cooking Pot.
Jochem Zazacki was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Markus-Dimitri Reinacher and
Mariano Aquino. Grilled started off with a 4-5-1 lineup. Lineup: Abed-Sulaiman - Zywczyn, Fredgård, Bona, Alcántara - Han Kok, Spirig, Kek-Tjiang, Paullin, van Liere - Martinsson.
Chernox tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. The following players had been chosen: Leão - bin Lamin, bin Aziz, Parme - Kyu-Syu, Kwok-Kei, Chee Seng, Siong Cheng, Knutsson - Amesz, Ox.
Chernox decided to play creatively. 7 minutes into the match and the home team took a 1 - 0 lead after breaking through on the left. Scorer for Grilled was
Shen Kek-Tjiang.
Ola Martinsson increased Grilled's lead to 2 - 0, putting a header away on a hooked ball from the right. Confident in their lead, Grilled decided to play a more defensive game at this point. 2 - 0 was the score after the first half. Grilled claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 72 percent.
A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased Grilled's lead to 3 - 0 as
Dani Spirig finished it off competently, firing from an acute angle. Grilled's
Sylweriusz Zywczyn struck his penalty well enough to beat the goalkeeper and extend the home team's lead to 4 - 0 after 64 minutes.
Chia Siong Cheng had a difficult time on the field; the muddy surface was clearly affecting his technique. Grilled's
Sylweriusz Zywczyn somehow missed a penalty 76 minutes into the match, much to the crowd's displeasure. Morale on the visitors' bench was greatly improved when their
Mohd Firdaus bin Aziz reduced the lead to make it 4 - 1 after 83 minutes, following a pass from the right. This half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 77 percent of the time.
Shen Kek-Tjiang performed admirably for Grilled.
Luis Alcántara was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Chernox player was without a doubt
Bernhard Knutsson.
Chia Siong Cheng turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 4 - 1.
