Sharingan 4 - 2 Grilled

ear skies welcomed the 100000 spectators who had made their way to Konoha Village. Ken Kütt was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Tuomas Mikko and Christoph Hösch. People from all over had joined up for the derby. Sharingan started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. Lineup: Perez - Celeste, Palmsjö, bin Mohamed - Connolly, Sale, Lazãr, Grondin, Dyrling - bin Taufek, Hyu-i.

Grilled tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. They fielded: Abed-Sulaiman - Fredgård, Borup, Jie Siong - van Liere, Han Kok, Kek-Tjiang, Paullin, Spirig - Martinsson, Kadak.

The home side put themselves ahead 1 - 0 after 11 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from Hyu-i, who, unaided, came in from the right wing hooking the ball over the visitors' keeper. Grilled's Hidde van Liere's early cross saw the defenders caught out of position and the alert Jaan Kadak was able to pounce and roll the ball past the hapless goalkeeper to make the score 1 - 1. 26 minutes in, Sharingan's António Celeste received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. 30 minutes into the game, Göran Dyrling had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came Vladimir Stukalov. Grilled's Quah Han Kok gave the visitors a 1 - 2 lead after 35 minutes with a superb strike from the right. After 37 minutes, Hyu-i made a dash down the middle past the away team's defenders to score the goal that made it 2 - 2. 2 - 2 was the halftime score. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Grilled, with an impressive 54 percent possession of the ball.

With 49 minutes played, Sharingan's Vladimir Stukalov fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee booked Vladimir Stukalov for diving. Paul-Francois Grondin's name was chanted throughout the stadium after his goal up the middle after 52 minutes gave Sharingan the 3 - 2 lead. After 58 minutes, Vladimir Stukalov put Sharingan ahead 4 - 2 when he rose to head in a hooked ball, the result of an effort from the right side. The referee showed Sharingan's Hairuddin bin Mohamed the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Due to a severely mistimed tackle, Anders Fredgård of Grilled spent some time on the grass writhing in agony before he could get up and continue the game. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Grilled, with an impressive 54 percent possession of the ball.

The most dominating Sharingan player was without a doubt Eustacio Perez. On the other hand, Vladimir Stukalov's play was disheartening. Most important Grilled player was Shen Kek-Tjiang. Lee Jie Siong turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 4 - 2.
